ANGLICAN CHURCH
ABOUT US

HISTORY
Saint Aidan, our Patron Saint, was an Irish monk from Iona
who went to Northumbria in 635 at the invitation of King Oswald. St. Aidan’s humility, compassion for the poor, and tireless pastoral work drew many to Christ. For his faithfulness, care for the needy, and shining witness, he is also honoured as the
“Beacon of the North.”
